I got my car towed here after it broke down at the hospital nearby. They were super nice and helpful over the phone! In terms of coordinating when to pick up my car, I wish their website was updated with their new hours so I knew when it was open! They do state their hours at the end of the phone ringing if they don’t answer, but I’m not sure how helpful that is.

So impressed with how quickly they were able to identify the problem and fix it. We had taken our Land Rover to other places and thankfully we found this place because the other places were saying it was a way bigger problem than it actually ended up being.

In October, 2026, I had my defender shipped from S. Ca. to Artisan. I had researched where to sent a car that sat idle for 4 years in a garage. The Rover club of Massachusetts recommended them. I was originally going to have it shipped to East Coast Rover, way up in Camden, Maine. They had the best reputation on the East Coast. I decided on Artisan auto works in Manchester, NH. Sean and his crew did a fabulous job getting my defender ready for the summer. The main reason I am writing this review is because of what they did AFTER. Last month my defender stopped running. It turned out to be a faulty fuel pump, that Artisan had originally replaced in October. Replacing a fuel pump is a pretty big job. I had the auto picked up and delivered by AAA to Artisan. After a through analysis, they replaced the fuel pump. At NO CHARGE!! They said it was a faulty pump. I did have some incidental charges, which I was happy to pay. I could have been taken advantage of, without ever knowing. I trust Sean and his crew with my defender. Those of you, who own a vehicle that is special to you realize the importance of a good,fair and trustworthy shop. George

I am so disappointed I didn’t find this gem of a shop in my neighborhood earlier. Responsive, friendly, fair and respectful. I always have felt taken advantage of by mechanics. Definitely not the case here.
